Zalando's acquisition of Highsnobiety was staged as an immersive brand activation during the annual Partner Day. Curated art and interaction spaces spread across three floors of the Stilwerk convention center formed the foundation. At its heart was a 360-degree stage on the top floor that completely transformed its identity throughout the day.
During the day, the stage functioned as an accessible, personal living room by Charli XCX—an intimate installation featuring original furniture, personal objects, and atmospheric lighting. Visitors could walk through the space and experience the artist's private aesthetic. At nightfall, the installation transformed into an open performance stage. All four sides became usable, translucent curtains opened, LED tiles activated, and the PA system kicked into high gear.
The artistic curation encompassed the entire venue: botanical greenhouse installations, interactive light sculptures, video projection surfaces, and a sneaker display gallery were developed in collaboration with artists. Each zone had its own technical identity but a common visual language – neon accents, industrial materiality, and translucent layers.

A transformative 360-degree stage with a dual function. The technical challenge: to build a stage that functions both as a closed, walk-in installation and as an open performance platform. Motorized curtain systems, concealed PA rigging, flexible lighting programming, and a modular stage design enabled this transformation. The collaborative artistic project demanded the technical realization of artistic visions – from kinetic sculptures to projection mapping onto organic forms.
