Two marathon events in two countries, back-to-back: the Nike Marathon Copenhagen and Berlin presented an international logistical challenge. Custom-made materials, scaffolding with structural calculations, and special exhibition stand elements had to be combined in such a way as to maintain the authentic street-urban look of the brand activation.

The modular scaffolding structures, clad in red translucent mesh fabrics and equipped with LED lighting, were a hybrid solution of technical precision and raw aesthetics. Retail displays, workshop areas, and shoe presentation areas were integrated into the scaffolding structure. The look: industrial, yet sophisticated; street, yet thoughtfully designed; Nike core, yet event-grade.

The critical component was the international logistics: materials needed first in Copenhagen had to be produced twice. Other elements—such as larger scaffolding structures and LED panels—were transported directly from Copenhagen to Berlin overnight and seamlessly reassembled the following morning. This meant: precise timing, timed equipment for rapid identification, and crew coordination across two countries.

International back-to-back production with a dual-material strategy and overnight logistics. The challenge: producing custom-made structures on short lead times that meet scaffolding standards (static calculations, TÜV certification) while maintaining street-urban aesthetics. This required time-critical coordination across two countries, two languages, and two interconnected local service provider networks.
